To go along with our new Drone Group we have booked a program with various arial views and teaching on the subject. Our speaker states-Boston offers fantastic photo opportunities, especially from above. He will show highlights of four decades of looking at Boston, including Helicopter, fixed-wing and drone views, and rooftops. Fasten your seatbelts.

Our speaker is Boston’s premiere landscape, aerial and architecture photographer who makes photographs of New England – its architecture, landscape, and industry – for publications, for collectors, and for advertising. Design has been a primary interest for decades, combining his love of structures, engineering, city planning, history and urban life.

As a premier creator of Boston-themed images, Steve is always making new views of his city. Panoramic and aerial images are a key part of this archive, used in many photo books. His book ‘Extraordinary Boston’ celebrates our city on the hill with new and surprising vantage points.

He is world-renowned for his assignment work, Boston stock library, and fine photography books. His commercial clients include architects, planners, and developers. Editorial clients include Dwell, Smithsonian, Yankee, Geo, Preservation, Boston Magazine, Afar, Where, and Print. Dedicated to historic preservation, he is part of Boston’s Historic District Commission. A life-long advocate for photographer’s rights, he has been a president of the ASMP. He is also the creator of Back Bay Press, and its photography books.

Steve lives in the Bay Village neighborhood of Boston. His photographs are included in numerous corporate and private collections. Ongoing interests include aerial video, drone operations, textile mills and local history. To see more of his images and view his blog please go to www.stevedunwell.com
