Halloween Bash
The social hour will be at 6PM with dinner served at 7PM. Grayson and Lydia are back and they can’t wait to see you all again.
For the first time ever, we will have the annual Halloween Bash actually on Halloween. Our party hostess Chris Germain, HonNEC, always makes it a night to remember and a night of fun. Coming just to see the decorations is worth the drive. She is also planning a Photo Booth this year so we can get selfies of our costumes or maybe a shot with someone from beyond the dark night if the séance works. Grayson and Lydia Bones are looking forward to making your acquaintance again and promise new duds and jewels for Lydia. After all it is their one big night of the year, when they are the boney stars of the party.
The hall will be ghostly and the playlist ghoulish. The menu is still being finalized, but will have an Italian flare to it for a change. Please make your reservations with Chris Germain at the club or through the online sign up on the left side column of this page and then pay Chris at the club prior to the Bash. To keep the cost low the club will subsidize the meal and ask that those who wish please bring an appetizer or dessert to share. Thus, making the cost for the event a mere $10 per person, this includes dinner, libations and a darn good time.
Set the date aside and plan to attend. Check out the recap write up by the Halloween Editor and her faithful black cat assistant -link in the left side column under 2017 Halloween Party report. Great pictures of previous Bashes are also posted. Again, look for the links to the Halloween party galleries in the left side column. Maybe she will write about you this year, though her assistant Jaggy is now a black cat ghost, she has a new assistant and black cat Frankie.
Chris will also be looking for help on Friday October 30th with the setup and decorations. Please contact her at the club or by e-mail if you are willing to lend a hand.
The date is coming up fast, so resurrect a spooky outfit or costume and plan to attend. You do not need a costume to attend. You can come and enjoy those who are wearing costumes and spend time chatting with friends.

More info on the party and Yankee Swap will be posted as the time gets nearer-You do not need to sign up for this party just attend and bring a swap gift if you want to participate. Food and libations available at no cost. The event is scheduled for Monday, December 14, 2026.
Game Night Social
More info on time, cost, food and games as the time gets nearer-do not sign up until officially posted. The event is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 20, 2027.
Socials
GLPA has several Saturday night "socials" throughout the year where members can bring spouses or significant others and join in an evening of fun, food and frivolity. Most often there is a theme for the evening - Halloween, Home Sweet Home (pj's were encouraged), the 1950s, etc.
