This presentation will be Zoomed to us from Texas. Our speaker Hector Astorga will demonstrate his process and approach to selecting and creating images based on what he thinks a judge is looking for in a contest. See his step-by-step planning and creating of his photographs. This is a “must see if you are interested in entering nature photography competitions, improve your scores in GLPA competitions or just want to learn how to improve your nature images, whether competing or just showing them to friends and family. It will also help you to make your images more attractive for those gallery showings or perhaps an attempt to sell them

Our speaker is an award winning professional nature photographer based in South Texas where he is serves as ranch manager and professional guide for visiting photographers at the Santa Clara Ranch a worldwide known wildlife photography destination in Texas. Initially from Honduras where his love of nature and the environment began, he conducts photography workshops at the ranch and at other locations in North America, Central America, and Africa.


Hector is also an ambassador for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Foundation. He uses his work to promote land and wildlife conservation in the State of Texas.
